After choosing a flag I can read a story by Monica Freitas in French and the dark mode works once it's activated in the phone settings.
Writing on the HackerNoon App
Hackernoon has nailed it! 😄 Now, it's possible to write from the comfort of your bedroom on a cold day, wrapped in a warm blanket!
Feeling lazy? No worries! You don't need a laptop or desktop; just grab your phone and start writing an article to inspire the globe!
To start writing, simply click on the pixelized icon "New". The app will display all your published articles and drafts as a contributor! I'm truly awestruck by this feature.
I am currently writing this piece on the app!
I can write the title, add a feature image, story tags, and a summary of my story.
After writing a short part of my story, the app allowed me to save a draft, and I can submit it anytime I want!
Before submitting a story, the app displays the preview button, as well as options to save and submit the story.
Before hitting submit, I can preview my story for a clear picture of how it’d look when published.
Draft submitted! After which a mail was in my Inbox to notify me.
The app is responsive; what I write is exactly what I see when I preview my story. To be honest, the writing experience on the mobile app is interesting, and I will use my phone wherever I go, relying less on my desktop and laptop.
However, even great things could use some improvement. Here are some things I’d add to the HackerNoon App:
